The terms and conditions apply to the use of the myschoolwear.co.uk website for My Schoolwear Ltd t/a Trutex Didcot.

By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions.

Please note, these terms and conditions can potentially change at any time, and it is up to you to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set out below, you should not use or access this website.

If you have any queries relating to our terms and conditions, please contact us before placing an order.

The terms and conditions apply to all transactions between My Schoolwear Ltd and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.

Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

Customer Orders

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods over the telephone or on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age and accept a delivery within the UK. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been paid for, dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail).

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you visit our store.


The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers’ prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we will inform you and may offer you an alternative.

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from that in-store.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period or while stock is available.


Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this within 48 hours for all orders into our shop Mon-Sat (excluding Bank Holidays).


Secure Shopping

When you shop with us, our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card information. We use PayPal which is an industry leader in secure internet transactions. PayPal is used by thousands of other UK businesses for transaction security.


Delivery Information


We will automatically calculate the delivery charge for you as you add items to your basket.

Delivery is charged at £4.50 for the UK mainland and sent by Royal Mail standard signed for service.

We strive to despatch ‘in stock’ orders within 48 hours of receiving your payment if possible, however, we will be in touch if there are any delays.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection costs.

If you should refuse the delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred. Royal Mail usually allows for collection from a local sorting office.

Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) may experience longer delivery times.

If you need morning, Saturday or “next working day” delivery, this may be possible but will also incur additional charges. Please contact us to arrange this.

We will routinely only deliver goods to the address on the order, if you require a redirection please contact the shop on 01235 211011.




All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours.

If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them as soon as they are received from our supplier.

On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any such delay.


Free Delivery

We offer free delivery of school uniform items when the order total is over £70. We notify these offer periods on our home page and it will be automatically applied at checkout.


Returns Policy

When you buy something from myschoolwear.co.uk you will not be able to see it, touch it, feel it or try it on. So of course you will be able to return any items (with the exception of tights and socks) for a full refund or exchange.

Please ensure you download, print out and complete a My Schoolwear Ltd returns form.

As we often have a high demand for items, we would like to have any returns back within 10 working days so that we can sell them to someone else.

We will process your return as soon as we receive the unwanted items and have checked that they are in their original condition, packaging and still have the labels attached.

Your refund will be processed within 3 working days of us receiving the items.

You will need to pay the postage to return your item to us, filling in a returns form and enclosing your receipt (or a photocopy will be OK).

If you would like to exchange your unwanted items for something else, please make a note of this on the returns form.

We may need to contact you to discuss your return so please also write down your phone number or email address for us. (We would only use your phone number to discuss your return and wouldn’t harass you with sales calls.)

If the item isn’t quite right and you would like some help finding something that is, please call one of our friendly team who work with our lovely customers in the real world all day and know how the stock looks and fits.

Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales are concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
